SpatialOS by Improbable enables the SURVIVAL game tech demo to host up to 1000 concurrent players in a single "shard" with 10,000 AI opponents and 100,000 other individual game objects, like trees and rocks. SpatialOS powers a massive 400km2 persistent game world where player actions have meaningful effects on everything in the simulation.
