The Choose Your Own Apocalypse Update adds two new difficulty levels to the zombie apocalypse. Battle for survival in Dread Zones, or for a more punishing experience, risk it all in a Nightmare Zone. Both zones offer deadlier zombies, plague-infected juggernauts, a faster-acting blood plague, and fewer resources to scavenge.

Nightmare Zones feature wandering groups of all-freaks and hostile humans capable of scoring lethal headshots against your survivors. The update is out now and free for all State of Decay 2 owners and Game Pass players.
