The Intel DG1 video card performance

We don’t know much about the Intel DG1 graphics card. In particular, we are not aware of the characteristics, although various sources speak of 96 executive units. We can say for sure that the adapter will be focused on the budget segment, but still this concept is loose.

And today, we finally can roughly imagine what the upcoming Intel 3D card is like. In the 3DMark 11 Performance DG1 test, it performs at approximately the iGPU level of the Ryzen 7 4800U processor, bypassing it somewhat.

If we correlate this with serial discrete graphics cards, then this is the level of the GeForce GTX 750 Ti. That is, the performance is very modest, and it is not very clear whether such a video card is needed in the desktop segment at all.

However, the tests passed a clearly non-serial sample, so that by the time they enter the market, productivity can grow, although obviously not by half.
