The bets, the uncertainty and of course the rumors are over. An official Intel slide reveals in great detail what we can expect about Alder Lake, its features, attached data and prices, especially for the KF versions that will finally see the light of day.
Intel Alder Lake CPU official prices
Let’s start at the bottom, and it is that the i5-12600K with 10 cores (6 will be P-Cores and 4 will be E-Cores) and 16 threads will have the particularity of including 20 MB of L3 and 9.5 MB of L2 for a maximum frequency of 4.9 GHz in its high-performance cores and up to 3.6 GHz in efficiency. The base frequencies will remain at 3.7 GHz and 2.8 GHz respectively.
As for maximum consumption, it will be 150 watts in PL2 and its price amounts to $ 264 as MSRP, an increase of $ 27 over the previous generation. Its KF version drops to $ 264 and also, neither of the two specifications has support for TBM 3.0.
We raise the range to i7-12700K and i7-12700KF, where we will find 12 cores in total in an 8P + 4E configuration to give together 20 threads, 25 MB of L3 and 12 MB of L2. Here there is support for TBM 3.0, where both will reach 5 GHz, while the P-Core in Turbo frequency will rise in unison to 4.9 GHz for the 3.8 GHz of the E-Cores.
The base frequencies stay at 3.6 GHz and 2.7 GHz respectively, while the consumptions have 125 watts in its base and 190 watts in its Turbo mode. Prices? $ 409 and $ 384 respectively between the K and KF versions.
Last but not least we have the i9-12900K and i9-12900KF, where both have 16 cores in 8P + 8E configuration to give 24 threads of execution, 30 MB of L3 and 14 MB of L2. The frequencies will be 5.2 GHz with TBM 3.0, 5.1 GHz in Turbo for all P cores and 3.9 GHz for E with base frequencies of 3.2 GHz and 2.4 GHz respectively.
As for its prices, the K version stands at 589 dollars for the 564 dollars of the KF.
