Fake Graphics Cards and CPU Gaming Benchmarks Are EVERYWHERE On YouTube And It's A BIG Problem!
Sunday, January 23, 2022I have noticed that YouTube has become flooded with countless “benchmark” videos from channels that don’t actually show any proof of owning the hardware they claim to be running benchmarks for. It’s extremely suspect to see these kinds of channels provide no background for their work, just throw up graphs with results taken from another site or a manipulated overlay which can be quite misleading. I wanted to inform others about this as it seems like more and more of these channels are appearing on YouTube and people are going to be mislead by this. Unfortunately, nothing is being done about so it’ll be up to you to do your research diligently.
