Noctua brought a host of prototype fans to show where it's been for the last 8 years - and the answer is designing & developing fans. We have a separate interview with one of Noctua's technical staff members coming up after the show, but for now, we can cover the product-level basics of the Noctua NH-D15 Gen2, the unnamed prototype fan, some Thread Ripper coolers, and Noctua's timing and plans.
