O3DE Game Engine in 2023

O3DE, the open-source game engine, just released O3DE v 23.05, the first major release of 2023. Has the game engine (formerly known as Amazon Lumberyard, based on CryEngine) evolved to the point where people should seriously consider using it for their own games?
