Switch to Desktop Mode:
- To get started, press the Steam button on your Steam Deck.
- Select “Power” from the menu.
- Choose “Switch to Desktop” to enter Desktop mode.

Install Google Chrome:
- In Desktop mode, click on the “Discover” shopping bag icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.
- Hold the Steam button and press the X button to bring up the onscreen keyboard.
- Type “Chrome” in the search bar and press Enter.
- Click “Install” next to the Google Chrome app.

- Close the Discover window by tapping the “x” in the top right corner.
