Arrow Lake-S (Desktop) Lineup:

  1. 24-Core (LGA 1851): Running at 3.6 GHz with a hefty 36 MB L3 cache.
  2. 14-Core (LGA 1851): Clocking in at 2.8 GHz and equipped with 24 MB L3 cache.
  3. 6-Core (LGA 1851): Operating at 2.8 GHz and featuring an 18 MB L3 cache.

Arrow Lake-HX (Laptop) Lineup:

  1. 16-Core (FCBGA): With a 2.9 GHz base clock and a generous 30 MB L3 cache.
  2. 14-Core (FCBGA): Running at 3.0 GHz and boasting a 24 MB L3 cache.

Keep in mind that these preliminary base clocks might change before the final retail release. Intel plans to launch at least 13 SKUs under the Core Ultra 200 CPU line, including unlocked “K” series chips like the Core Ultra 9 285K, Core Ultra 7 265K, and Core Ultra 5 245K. These will be followed by non-K 65W and 35W CPU variants. All chips will be compatible with the new LGA 1851 socketed motherboards under the 800-series platform.

Here’s what we know about Arrow Lake-S Desktop CPUs so far:

  • LGA 1851 Socket Longevity: Planned until 2026.
  • DDR5 Only Compatibility: No DDR4 support.
  • Increased PCIe Gen 5.0 Lanes: Through CPU & PCH.
  • Arrow Lake-S First Desktop Family Supported (DIY).
  • Hyper-Threading Support: Not confirmed yet.
  • Expected launch: 2H 2024 at Computex, followed by retail availability.

As for the Arrow Lake-HX family, we’ll likely see it debut by late 2024, with proper retail availability in the first half of 2025.
