MSI Unveils High-End AMD Ryzen AI 300 “Strix” Powered Laptops for Gamers & Creators

MSI has introduced its latest lineup of high-end laptops powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 “Strix” APUs, designed for gamers, creators, and business professionals. Unveiled at ChinaJoy 2024, the new range includes the flagship Titan 18 Pro, Alpha 17, and Stealth 16 AI+ Ryzen Edition, among others.

High-Performance Specifications

MSI’s gaming and creator laptops will be available with AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and Ryzen AI 9 365 APUs, offering 12 and 10 cores, respectively, with clock speeds up to 5.1 GHz. These APUs also feature up to 16 RDNA 3.5 compute units clocked at up to 2900 MHz.

Flagship Models

Titan 18 Pro Ryzen Edition 2024: This flagship model boasts top-tier configurations, including extensive cooling performance, ample storage and I/O capabilities, and up to RTX 4090 discrete GPUs. It also features an 18" OLED screen for exceptional image quality.
Alpha 17 Ryzen Edition 2024: Similar to the Titan 18 Pro, the Alpha 17 is a 17" model with high-end specifications tailored for gamers.

Stealth 16 AI+ Ryzen Edition

The Stealth 16 AI+ Ryzen Edition features a 16" (16:10) 2.5K+ OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate, weighing 2.1kg and measuring just 19.9mm thick. It includes a 99 Whr battery, a Magnesium-Alloy metal chassis, up to 32 GB of LPDDR5x-7500 memory, and MSI’s Cooler Boost 5 technology, supporting up to RTX 4070 discrete GPUs.

Upcoming Releases

MSI has also announced its next-gen Lunar Lake “Core Ultra 200V” laptop lineup, expected to be available later this year. The AMD Ryzen AI 300 “Strix” APU lineup will officially debut tomorrow, with pre-orders starting on the same date and availability in August.
