PALIT and GAINWARD Introduce SFF-Ready GeForce RTX 40 SUPER Infinity 3 and Python 3 Series
9/02/2024PALIT and GAINWARD Introduce SFF-Ready GeForce RTX 40 SUPER Infinity 3 and Python 3 Series
PALIT Infinity 3 and Gainward Python 3
PALIT Group is launching new GeForce graphics cards today, specifically designed to meet the new SFF-Ready program.
The 29.4 cm long Infinity 3 graphics cards are far from compact, making it difficult to label them as “Small Form Factor Ready.” However, these specifications were not set by Palit but by NVIDIA, which, for some reason, considers such a long GPU as small. Despite this, the new card does adhere to recommendations regarding maximum thickness and width. As a result, these cards now feature a new SFF badge on the packaging.
As the title suggests, there are two product series from two different companies. Gainward, which is part of the Palit group, offers the Python III and Infinity 3. These two designs are identical and almost certainly produced on the same manufacturing line.
A New Era of SFF Power: The Infinity 3 Series
SFF builds are gaining popularity for good reasons. They save space, reduce clutter, and offer more portability. The Palit GeForce RTX™ 4070 Ti SUPER Infinity 3 Series is designed with this goal in mind – to deliver the power of a high-end GPU within a form factor that fits into compact PC cases.
Both designs feature an all-black finish with no RGB lighting. This is a stealthy design without unnecessary features or overclocking that would require sophisticated cooling solutions. The Infinity 3 and Python III are simple cards designed for users who aren’t interested in paying extra for such features.
Gainward Unleashes the Power of SFF-Ready GeForce RTX™40 SUPER in a Compact Package: Introducing the All-New Python III Series
The Python III shatters the stereotype that high-end graphics cards require bulky cases. This design packs the power of the GeForce RTX™ 4080 SUPER, RTX™ 4070 Ti SUPER, RTX™ 4070 SUPER into a compact size, measuring just 294 x 116 x 49.5 mm. This makes Python III the perfect choice for gamers and creators who craft powerful Small Form Factor (SFF) PCs.
A total of 12 new cards were launched today, featuring the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and RTX 4070 SUPER. The key takeaway is that all of these cards share the same dimensions and design. However, neither Palit nor Gainward have confirmed whether their cards use non-standard GPU configurations (such as the AD102 for the 4070 Ti SUPER).
These 12 SKUs include both OC (overclocked) and non-OC variants, offering moderate clock boosts over NVIDIA’s specifications.
