How to Start Berry Picking in Silksong

To start Berry Picking in Silksong you need to find the Moss Druid in the upper-right corner of Moss Home and you need to unlock the Silkspear ability. The Silkspear ability is essential as it's part of how you find the Druid.

Finding the Moss Druid

To find the Druid, follow these steps:

Head right from the point where you unlocked the Silkspear ability
Drop down to return to the point where silk blocks your path
Use your Silkspear ability to slice through the silk
Keep heading to the right by hopping over the gap and into the next area

You should hear laughing the moment you enter this area and a Bench will be right in front of you. Sit here to save and recover, then keep heading right to find the Druid. Speak to them and select 'Yes' when you get the option to promise their wish. This starts the Berry Picking side quest.

Silksong Berry Picking: All Mossberry Locations

To complete Berry Picking you need to find three Mossberry and take them back to the Druid. Thankfully, none are too far away. Here's where to find all three Mossberry for Berry Picking (we've included all four locations since they're close to each other and you might want to collect them all):

Moss Grotto Mossberry Location #1

The first Mossberry can be found in the beginning area of Silksong, Moss Grotto, and you may have already collected it. If you haven't, follow these steps:

Head back to the beginning of Moss Grotto
Keep following the path to reach the Ribcage
Use the floating platforms above here to make your way upwards, aiming to head to the right onto the platform with the Moss Fly on it
Watch out for Moss Fly attacks! They'll fly over you and then charge at the ground in a downwards attack
From here keep heading right, you'll come across another Moss Fly and Moss Bug
After defeating both, head up the small platform to the right
Climb this platform and then keep heading to the right, encountering another Moss Fly
Continue until you come to a ledge with the Mossberry hanging above it

Moss Grotto Mossberry Location #2

The second Mossberry is a bit further along in Moss Grotto. To find it:

Keep pressing forward until you come to a darker area
Continue to the right until you come to a set of platforms leading upwards
Climb up these platforms
You'll get to an enemy that rolls itself around the next platform
Pro Tip: The easiest way to defeat them is to stand on the platform slightly below it and wait for them to uncurl at the top of their platform, then attack them. Do this a few times and they'll soon perish
Continue climbing upwards and head left onto another solid platform
Defeat the bug here and continue heading upwards to find a larger platform with a Moss Fly on it
Pan the camera up and you'll find another Mossberry
Use your diagonal attack here to jump off the flying enemy to reach them

Moss Home Mossberry Location #1

The first option for the third Mossberry can also be found in Moss Home. Here's how to get it:

Exit the Druid and head back to Shakra in The Marrows
From Shakra, head upwards and to the left until you come to a lever you needed to pull to open the floor
Drop down the opening here and then head left
Drop down the first opening until you come to an elevator
Activate the elevator by stepping on it (it'll be handy later if you fall!)
From the elevator, follow the path along to the right until you come to a small floating platform over a large chasm
Wait here and look down - eventually another flying enemy holding a glowing Mossberry will appear
Pro Tip: The easiest way to get this Mossberry is to use Hornet's diagonal attack to attack them from above when they're in range (also called Pogoing)
Don't worry if you miss them and fall though - you won't die, just get back to the Elevator to the left and ride it back up

Moss Home Mossberry Location #2

The second option for the third Mossberry can be found quite close to the Druid. We recommend grabbing this even if you've got enough for the side quest - you never know when you'll need more!

Exit the Druid's area and then drop down the gap that's in front of you
Keep dropping down here, then head to the right to find a secret wall
Smash this and head through
The room will be quite dark, but keep walking forwards
You'll soon find a flying enemy making the room glow - they're holding a Mossberry!
Pro Tip: Make them drop the Berry by eliminating them. We found it easiest to stand on the floating platform in the middle of the room and attack them from here

Completing the Quest

Whatever option you take to get three Mossberry, head back to the Druid once you've collected three to complete this side quest and get your reward.

Silksong Berry Picking Rewards

The reward for completing Berry Picking in Silksong is the Druid's Eye Amulet, which will weep elixir that forms Silk as the bearer takes damage. This can be incredibly useful during tough boss fights or challenging sections!

How to Equip Your Reward

You can equip the Druid's Eye Amulet by entering your equipment menu while sitting on a Bench. This amulet provides passive Silk generation when you take damage, making it a valuable tool for maintaining your Silk supply during extended combat.
