Diablo 4 SSF Restored as Warlock Dominance Disabled Hotfix 3 [2026]

Updated September 22, 2026: Solo Self-Found is back in Diablo 4 Season 15 after Hotfix 3 fixed the seasonal-progress reset bug, per Duskforge relaying Blizzard community manager filthierich on September 18. The same night Blizzard disabled the Dominance upgrade for Fiend of Abaddon over higher-than-intended damage scaling. This updates our Season 15 live draft where SSF read disabled.

SSF restored and what broke it
Per Duskforge on September 19 with Neviriah, SSF returns after being down since the Season of Hell is Legacy launch. Root cause per the Hotfix 3 note: previous seasonal progress did not reset on new seasonal SSF characters, and the mode re-enabled once sorted.
Per the same relay of the official forum post, Hotfix 3 shipped September 18 as patch 3.2.1. Our draft-95 correctly reported SSF disabled at launch, so this file is the status update, not a correction.
Solo runners can start fresh runs now. Old progress wipes correctly on new seasonal characters.
Dominance disabled and who feels it
Per Duskforge relaying a second filthierich forum post the same night, the Dominance upgrade for the Fiend of Abaddon ultimate is temporarily off while Blizzard investigates over-scaling damage. The upgrade normally drops Fiend is cooldown onto Dominance, which anchors always-up Warlock builds many players run.
Per the post, no ETA is given with updates promised when the upgrade returns. Our draft-95 one-button Warlock meta via Hellhound is Sabatons still stands as the leveling engine, but constant-Fiend variants take a hit meanwhile.
Warlock mains should bank the build and farm Mephisto echo for the guaranteed Mythic instead of pushing bugged scaling.

Rest of Hotfix 3
Per the quoted Hotfix 3 note, Tree of Whispers caches that could not be claimed now claim normally. Our Tree-bug live post plus this fix close that loop.
Per the same note, trade-window items now display properly. Small fix, real annoyance removed.
Both forum posts carry official-forum origin links in the Duskforge relay. Primary behind a fan relay, attributed as such.

What to do now
Start the SSF run now that resets work. Park always-up Fiend builds until Dominance returns and run Sabatons leveling plus Mephisto farms in between.
