DLSS5-Autopilot Puts Neural Rendering Into Games With 8 Routes and One Exe [2026]

By Indie Kings | September 20, 2026

Updated September 20, 2026: DLSS5-Autopilot by Kizzuwatnaa puts DLSS 5 neural rendering into games that never shipped it, per the official repository README. The one-exe tool scans Steam, Epic, GOG, EA, Ubisoft, Battle.net, Rockstar, Xbox, folders, and 19 emulators, picks 1 of 8 routes for the game and card, and fetches every part from its publisher at runtime.

What Autopilot does in one press

Per the official repository README at github.com/Kizzuwatnaa/DLSS5-Autopilot, the tool finds your games, reads each executable and folder, and picks the route that fits the game and card. Open a game and press install. Settings shows only what that route reads, and uninstall restores every replaced file.

The library covers Steam, Epic, GOG, EA, Ubisoft, Battle.net, Rockstar, Amazon, itch, Heroic, Xbox and Game Pass, D Games folders, and 19 emulators, per the README. Each game shows cover art plus one line: installed, working, needs a look, update, or anti-cheat, plus community success counts once shared.

The repo holds 691 stars, 35 forks, and 454 commits at the time of writing. One exe, nothing to install, no admin, nothing bundled, per the README. Every part downloads from its publisher at runtime.

The 8 routes and which game gets which

Per the README route table, native uses Krish renodx-dlss5 for 64-bit D3D12 games with DLSS. Neural-upstream runs matiasLombo at render resolution before the game upscales. Optiscaler replaces the upscaler via Dagherbou fork for 64-bit D3D11 or 12 with DLSS, FSR, or XeSS.

Bridge mirrors the DLSS contract onto a private D3D12 session for D3D11 and Vulkan games with DLSS. Feeder builds a DLAA contract from ReShade depth and motion vectors for games with no DLSS at all. Standalone uses kibblerz own feed for 64-bit D3D11 or 12. Renodx-dlss hooks D3D9, 11, and 12 in-process. Remix runs inside RTX Remix mods with a trex folder.

Three overrides apply, per the README. A Remix mod always wins since ReShade crashes Remix games. On driver 616.64 and newer the renodx-dlss5 add-on faults in many games, so the tool pins it to 4.55 or moves no-DLSS games to standalone. Anti-cheat titles ask for confirmation since ReShade plus anti-cheat risks bans.

Which cards run it and at what cost

Per the README card table, RTX 50 uses NVIDIA 310.8.0 at full speed. RTX 40 uses community sm 89 at moderate cost. RTX 20 and 30 use community FP16 builds at heavy cost, about half FPS at 100 percent model resolution, so use the dial.

GTX and 16 series do not run it. AMD and Intel have no runtime here, per the README, which points at HIP projects on Radeon as separate work that cannot be installed from this tool.

Swapping the DLL alone does nothing on any card, per the README. A game must ask for neural rendering, and outside NBA 2K27 none do, so the add-on or OptiScaler makes that request.

Card per READMEBuildCost
RTX 50310.8.0 NVIDIA ownFull speed
RTX 40310.8.0-RTX40 community sm 89Moderate
RTX 20 and 30310.8.SF and SF-v2 community FP16Heavy, about half FPS at 100 percent

The per-game DLSS updater

Per the README, the dlss page lists every game shipping nvngx_dlss, dlssd ray reconstruction, or dlssg frame generation against NVIDIA newest, including games Autopilot never touched. Update swaps in the new build with the game file kept beside it for restore original.

All three files come from NVIDIA own repository at its release tag with a 64-bit DLL check before overwrite, per the README. Launchers that verify files will put their own copy back, and anti-cheat can treat changed files as tampering, so online games should keep the game own files.

The tool also self-checks its work. Per the README, did it work reads ReShade, add-on, OptiScaler, and Windows crash logs after you play and names which part stopped. Autopilot mode installs, starts the game, reads loaded DLLs, and tries the next route experimentally.

Safety rules before installing

Per the README, releases are built by GitHub Actions from the tagged commit with SHA-256 sums and signed provenance, verifiable with certutil and gh attestation. Or skip the exe and run plain Python from clone with standard library only.

Antivirus heuristics can flag new releases in their first hours, per the README. Every release is submitted to Microsoft as a false positive. SmartScreen warnings reflect a missing paid certificate, not file content.

Never install two neural add-ons side by side, per the README. If Deep Fried Chicken finds a RenoDX add-on loaded beside it, it silently does nothing all session. Turn MSAA and SSAA off, set resolution before enabling, and prefer borderless over exclusive fullscreen.

  • Anti-cheat: ReShade plus BattlEye, EAC, Vanguard, and others risks bans. Library marks these and asks first.
  • Online DLL swaps: Leave DLSS files on keep game own for online play.
  • Driver note: On 616.64 plus, expect the 4.55 pin or standalone recommendation for no-DLSS games.

FAQ

What does Autopilot install into?
Per the README, one of 8 routes with ReShade, feeder or bridge, neural add-on, and NVIDIA runtimes, all fetched from publishers at runtime. Nothing is bundled.

Which games are found?
Per the README, Steam, Epic, GOG, EA, Ubisoft, Battle.net, Rockstar, Amazon, itch, Heroic, Xbox and Game Pass, custom folders, and 19 emulators.

Which cards work?
Per the README, RTX 20 and newer. RTX 50 full speed, 40 moderate, 20 and 30 heavy. GTX, 16 series, AMD, and Intel do not run from here.

What about anti-cheat games?
Per the README, they are marked and ask for confirmation. Installing anyway risks a ban.

Can it update my games DLSS?
Yes. Per the README, the dlss page tracks super resolution, ray reconstruction, and frame generation versions per game with update and restore original.

Is the exe safe?
Per the README, releases build on GitHub runners with SHA-256 and provenance attestation, no admin, no telemetry, and a pure Python fallback exists.

Bottom Line

Autopilot is the manager layer over the DLSS 5 mod scene: library scan, 8 routes, publisher-fetched parts, and log-verified results with full uninstall. If you run RTX 20 or newer single-player libraries, it removes the manual DLL hunt, with anti-cheat and driver pins as the lines to respect.
