Updated September 21, 2026: Hall of Thanes is the level 13 to 18 Alliance-exclusive dungeon to run first in Forever beta, per Warcraft Tavern, with Ruins of Lordaeron at 15 to 20 beside it. Nine new dungeons span 13 to 60 at launch with the Drowned City named among them.

Hall of Thanes essentials
Per Warcraft Tavern September 19 guide from Val Hull, Thanes is Alliance-exclusive at 13 to 18 with location plus quests covered. Our live hall-of-thanes slug already covers the 5-dungeon-guide angle, so this draft is the beta-run companion, not a dupe.
Per Tavern hub, travel helpers sit beside it: Blessing of Zephras for fast Zephras Isle movement plus an Ironforge-from-Zephras route guide. Read travel first, queue second.
Per Tavern September 20, Silver of the Waves in Loch Modan is the solved dip quest to pair with a Thanes session. Same leveling band, same trip logic.
The nine-dungeon map
Per classicwow dot gg September 18 relay, nine new dungeons run 13 to 60 with Thanes, Ruins and Drowned City named. Sizes and tier access planning sit in their linked raid guide with Deeps 10, Hyjal 20 and Onyxia 40 unlocking December 9.
Per BlizzardWatch September 13, nine dungeons were announced with all implied at launch, plus two more each spring and summer 2027 which may or may not overlap the nine. Dalaran doubles as playable quest area, per the same relay.

Tavern quest tracker notes
Per Tavern hub, Dwarf Shaman totem quests have a dedicated guide, Legacy system has an overview, and stats plus attributes have a guide. Shaman players should read totems before queuing Thanes.
Per Tavern, ClassicUI Forever addon plus crash-setting and VPN-lag fixes share the same beta window. Fix client first if queues clear but logins crash.
Per Vice cap explainer, Excavation Site arrives as the new dungeon when the cap lifts to 30 after two weeks. Thanes plus Ruins are the only two for Week 1.

Week 1 run order
Run Thanes at 13 with quests, Ruins at 15 with quests, then outdoors to 20. Dungeon mob XP is nerfed near 20 per kill per forum reports in our XP draft, so one quest clear each beats farms.
Save repeats for cap 30 with Excavation Site. Our XP draft holds the tuning-watch date of September 22.
Beta wipes before November 4, per Vice. Practice routes now, keep launch mains fresh.
