1. Horde Racial Abilities in Forever
Orcs gain Rogue, Warlock, and Shaman as newly available classes in Forever, per the fan reference. Blood Fury now grants 10 percent more Attack Power and Spell Power for 15 seconds, replacing the Classic version that gave 25 percent more base melee Attack Power but cut healing received in half. New in Forever is Shatter Curse, which grants 8 seconds of immunity to Curses and Banes plus reduced incoming magic damage. Axe Specialization now gives axes 1 percent additional critical strike chance to spells and abilities instead of weapon skill, and Hardiness shortens stuns by 20 percent instead of offering a resist chance. Command, the old pet damage bonus, is unconfirmed in Forever.
Undead gain Paladin access, matching the Forsaken Paladin reveal from the announcement trailer. Will of the Forsaken now breaks Charm, Fear, and Sleep effects instead of granting 5 seconds of immunity to them, per the reference. Cannibalize recovers 35 percent of total Health and Mana over 10 seconds from a nearby corpse, adding Mana to the Classic Health-only version. Touch of the Grave is new: spells and attacks have a 5 percent chance to drain Health up to 5 percent of maximum. Underwater Breathing is unchanged. Shadow Resistance is unconfirmed.
Tauren keep Warrior, Hunter, Druid, and Shaman. War Stomp is unchanged, stunning up to 5 enemies within 8 yards for 2 seconds. Cultivation now grows extra herbs that can be gathered without Herbalism, replacing the old Herbalism skill bonus. Plainsrunning is new: movement speed builds as the Tauren keeps moving. Endurance keeps the 5 percent Health bonus and adds 1 percent Hit Chance. Nature Resistance is unconfirmed.
Trolls gain Shaman access in Forever. Berserking is flattened to a flat 10 percent faster attacks and casting for 10 seconds, losing the Classic scaling that rose to 30 percent at low Health. Rapid Regeneration is new and restores 50 percent of maximum Health over a brief period. Regeneration and Beast Slaying are unchanged. Bow and Throwing Specializations are unconfirmed, and Troll priest spells have not been documented in the demo reference yet.

|---|---|---|

Stoneform now cleanses Poison and Disease and reduces incoming Physical damage for 8 seconds, but Bleed removal and immunity are still unconfirmed, where Classic granted full immunity plus Armor. Mace Specialization and Big Game Hunter are both new: maces grant 1 percent critical strike chance to spells and abilities, and the Dwarf deals 5 percent more damage to Beasts. Dwarf priests reportedly gain Chastise and Desperate Prayer, with tooltips undocumented. Frost Resistance and Gun Specialization are unconfirmed.

3. Skyborne: Windshaper vs High Order
![]()
The new Skyborne race comes in two faction variants with a shared core and one signature each, per the fan reference. Both get Walk on Air, a 10-second glide, plus Wind Blessed for 1 percent Haste to melee, ranged, and spellcasting, and Elemental Insight for 5 percent more damage to Elementals.
![]()
The Horde Windshaper version, open to Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Druid, and Shaman, adds Skysight: an Elemental Blessing that lets the character run 10 percent faster. The Alliance High Order version, open to Warrior, Hunter, Mage, Rogue, and Druid, adds Read Ley Line: activating a ley line grants 100 percent more Health and Mana regeneration.
4. Priest Racial Spells
Priest racial spells are the least confirmed part of the reference. Reported additions include Dark Sacrifice for Undead priests, an instant spell with a 10-minute cooldown converting 720 Health into 720 Mana over 15 seconds at reported rank 2 from a level 38 demo character. Human, Dwarf, Night Elf, and Gnome priest spells are reported but lack documented Forever tooltips, and Troll priest spells have not been documented at all. Treat every priest racial as provisional until the beta build lands.
5. Frequently Asked Questions
What are the Skyborne racial abilities in WoW Forever?
Both Skyborne variants glide with Walk on Air, gain 1 percent Haste from Wind Blessed, and deal bonus damage to Elementals. Windshaper adds a 10 percent run speed blessing, while High Order gains doubled regeneration at ley lines.
How does Will of the Forsaken work in Forever?
It breaks Charm, Fear, and Sleep effects currently affecting the character, instead of granting several seconds of immunity as in Classic, per the pre-release reference.
Did Troll Berserking change in Forever?
Yes. It is a flat 10 percent attack and casting speed bonus for 10 seconds, losing the Classic version that scaled up to 30 percent at low Health.
Which race and class combinations are new in Forever?
Per the reference: Orc Rogue, Warlock, and Shaman; Undead Paladin; Troll Shaman; Human Hunter; Dwarf Shaman; Gnome Warlock; plus the Skyborne race for both factions.
Are these racial abilities final?
No. The reference marks Command, Diplomacy, weapon specializations, and all resistances as unconfirmed, and priest spells as reported but undocumented. Values come from a pre-release demo build.
Where do these numbers come from?
From ClassicWoWForever's early racial reference, which compares tooltips captured from the September 2026 pre-release build against Classic values, alongside Blizzard's official announcement.
Bottom Line
Forever's racial pass modernizes the system without deleting its identity: outdated weapon skill bonuses become crit, narrow immunities become breaks and cleanses, and every race keeps its signature. The Skyborne glide and ley line powers are the headline, but the quiet story is how many Classic racials survived nearly untouched. Expect numbers to move in beta.
